Terms of Service
Effective: March 6, 2026
1. Purpose
These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Service provider and users regarding the use of IMGLOO (the 'Service').
2. Service Description
The Service provides the following features:
- Image format conversion (PNG, JPG, WebP, BMP, TIFF)
- Favicon, OG image, and app icon generation
- PDF compression, conversion, and security cleaning
- Image resizing
3. Eligibility
Users must provide accurate information when registering. Access may be restricted if registration is made using another person's information.
Minors purchasing paid services may require parental or legal guardian consent. Payments made without such consent may be cancelled by the legal guardian.
4. Prohibited Activities
Users must not engage in the following activities when using the Service:
- Using the Service for illegal or criminal purposes
- Processing content prohibited by law, including child sexual exploitation material or terrorism-related material
- Processing files that infringe on others' copyrights, trademarks, portrait rights, or other intellectual property rights
- Interfering with the normal operation of the Service or causing excessive load (e.g., DDoS attacks, automated bots)
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service's source code, algorithms, or other technologies
- Distributing malware, viruses, or other malicious software through the Service
- Collecting, using, or disclosing others' personal information without authorization
- Using the Service for spam, phishing, fraud, or similar activities
5. Paid Services & Refunds
The Service offers paid products including Ad-Free, Pro, and Bundle. All paid products are one-time purchases, not subscriptions.
As digital content that takes effect immediately upon purchase, refunds are not available after the service is activated, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
All core features are provided free without limits. Paid services only include additional perks such as ad removal and expanded batch processing.
Refunds related to service termination are governed separately by Article 11.
6. Account Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the 'My Account' page. Upon deletion:
- Login information (email, password, etc.) is deleted immediately
- Payment records are retained for 5 years by email as required by Korean e-commerce law
- If you re-register with the same email, your purchase history will be automatically restored
7. Account Restriction & Suspension
If a user violates the prohibited activities in Article 4 or breaches these Terms, the Service provider may take the following actions without prior notice:
- Restrict or temporarily suspend Service access
- Permanently suspend and delete the account
- Report to law enforcement authorities as required by applicable laws
Users will be notified of the reason for restriction and may file an objection. However, in cases of clearly illegal activity, immediate action may be taken without prior notice.
8. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Service's design, logo, software, and technology belong to the Service provider.
Rights to files processed by users through the Service belong to the users. The Service provider claims no rights over such files.
9. Disclaimer
The Service provider is not liable for:
- File corruption or data loss during browser-based processing
- File loss due to user negligence
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from Service use
- Legal disputes regarding the content of files processed by users
- Service limitations caused by outages or policy changes of third-party services (Google, payment processors, etc.)
10. Limitation of Liability
If the user suffers damages due to the Service provider's fault, liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user for the Service.
Free users may not claim damages related to Service use.
11. Service Modification, Suspension & Termination
The Service provider may modify or suspend all or part of the Service as operationally necessary, with prior notice.
No liability for service interruptions caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, system failures, or changes in law.
In the event of permanent service termination (shutdown), the following procedures apply:
- Users will be notified at least 30 days before the termination date via registered email and in-service announcements
- Users who purchased paid services within 90 days of the termination announcement will receive a full refund
- Eligible users will be individually notified via email with refund instructions
- All user data will be deleted promptly after the termination date, except as required by law
- Payment records will be retained for 5 years from the termination date as required by Korean e-commerce law
12. Dispute Resolution
Disputes related to these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
13. Changes to Terms
Any changes to these Terms will be announced at least 7 days before the effective date via in-service notifications and registered email. If you do not agree with the changes, you may discontinue use of the Service.
14. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and customary practices.
