Privacy Policy

IMGLOO (the 'Service') is a browser-based image conversion and PDF processing tool. Core features (image conversion, PDF compression, etc.) are processed entirely in your browser — files are never uploaded to our servers.

We process minimal personal information for the following purposes: user identification for paid services, payment processing, and usage statistics for service improvement.

The following information may be collected when using the Service:

• Google Sign-in: email address, name, profile photo (provided through Google OAuth)
• Paid service purchases: payment method information (processed by our payment provider; IMGLOO does not store card numbers directly)
• Automatically collected: cookies, access logs, browser type, IP address (for service operation and advertising)

The Service may display ads through Google AdSense. The following cookies are used:

• Google AdSense cookies: for personalized advertising (you can disable personalized ads in Google Ad Settings)
• Service cookies: for login state, theme preferences, and other operational needs

Personal information is retained for the following periods and deleted promptly after the purpose is fulfilled:

• Account information (email, password, etc.): deleted immediately upon account deletion
• Payment records: retained for 5 years by email as required by Korean e-commerce law. Purchase history is automatically restored if you re-register with the same email.

Image and PDF files are never uploaded to our servers and therefore are not stored or retained.

We do not share collected personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:

• When required by law enforcement authorities pursuant to applicable laws
• When minimum necessary information is provided to our payment processor (Toss Payments) for transaction processing

The Service uses the following overseas services, and personal information may be transferred internationally as a result:

• Google Firebase (USA): user authentication and data storage — Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
• Google AdSense (USA): cookie information for advertising — Google LLC

These services comply with international privacy standards including GDPR, and transferred information is limited to the minimum scope necessary for service operation.

You may exercise the following rights at any time:

• Request to view, modify, or delete your personal information
• Request account deletion and data removal
• Opt out of marketing-related data processing

In the event of service termination, the data deletion schedule will be announced along with the termination notice. All personal information will be promptly deleted after the termination date, except for records required by law (payment records: 5 years).

Any changes to this policy will be announced through in-service notifications.
